# Cooking Steps:
01 - In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until just mixed.
02 - Divide mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each into an oval football shape, slightly flattening to match bun size.
03 - Preheat grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties for 2 to 3 minutes per side until fully cooked.
04 - During the last minute of cooking, place halved cheddar cheese slices on each patty and cover to melt.
05 - Lightly toast the mini burger buns until golden.
06 - Spread ketchup and mayonnaise evenly on the bottom halves of the buns.
